ncjwa celebrates 90th anniversary

This year the National Council of Jewish Women of Australia celebrated 90 years since Dr Fanny Reading established the Council of Jewish Women in Sydney. The NSW section marked the occasion with a cocktail party for which 8 history panels were created and an oral history book with interviews and photos of past office bearers and members was published in time for the celebration.

In June, NCJWA held a plenary meeting in Brisbane, at which a 90th anniversary dinner was held.  A strategic planning session was led by a facilitator who guided discussions on working together and how to be productive and relevant in the 21st century.
