cooperation feminine events during 2013.

As usual, the French affiliate Cooperation Feminine has been very active during 2013in its cultural and social fields. Here are some of  the events organized by the Cooperation Feminine during 2013.

In April 2013, the fundraising for Israel committee has organized its annual lunch at the Pavillon d’Armenonville, a well-known restaurant, in the presence of His Excellency Mr.Yossi Gal, the Israeli Ambassador. This 45th event was hosted by Monique Katz, President of the committee and Evelyne Berdugo, President of the CF, and sponsored by Bulgari, Dior, Longchamp and other famous brands. The guest of honor was Professor René Frydman, a legend in French medicine and ”father “ of Amandine, the first baby born by in vitro fecundation, who is now 30 years old.

The CF has celebrated the 20th anniversary of the ESAT, a social center for handicapped Jewish (or not) men and women, which provides work and salaries for 67 persons, giving them hope and security in their day-to-day life.

In the framework of its social activities, the CF has organized, as usual, a summer vacations resort for handicapped young people in a lovely environment.

Last July, the CF held its annual party for its clubs at the Centre Rachi, where its headquarters are located. After a theatric representation by amateur actors, all the participants gathered around a delicious buffet.

Other activities deserve to be mentioned such as an unforgettable trip in the Southwest of the United States and a fabulous trip to Israel.

Being a dynamic association the CF will implement different projects for its members after the Jewish Holydays such as:
- a Modern Hebrew course by an Israeli professor;
- a Midrach course given by Janine Elkouby, a very well read professor;
- a sophrology course by Nicole Bedoc, a well-known sophrologist;
- a theater workshop.

Last but not least, the CF is also preparing an important meeting for March 2014 to look at the situation of Jewish women in France, Europe and Israel and allow them to speak out on their specific problems.
