triennial convention in winnipeg

The National Council of Jewish Women of Canada held its Triennial Convention in Winnipeg, October 4-6, 2013, at the Fort Garry Hotel.  National Council of Jewish Women of Canada was established in 1897 and was the first Jewish Women's organization in Canada.

The New Board of Directors was installed.

Delegates from Toronto, London, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver gathered to support policies on organ donation and against human trafficking as well as reviewing and amending NCJWC by-laws.  A walking tour of the nearly finished Canadian Museum of Human Rights for delegates also took place.
