On Friday November 24, 2017, members of 10 Jewish communal organizations in Melbourne, Australia, marched in the Walk Against Family Violence, marking the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. 

ICJW Executive members Susie Ivany and Vivian Brass joined the Jewish Community Council of Victoria, Jewish Care, Maccabi, the Rabbinical Council of Victoria, Tzedek, Progressive Judaism, Unchain my Heart, Impact for Women, and our affiliate, the National Council of Jewish Women Australia. Together over 1000 people participated, including the Jewish  contingent.
