Marine Solomonishvili has been elected  to the UN Women Civil Society Advisory Group for Georgia, where she is head of the Council of Jewish Women and LEA, which was one of 1,500 organizations seeking election.

She was also elected by 109 NGOs as the new coordinator of  the EaP Natonal Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. 

Marine attended the 9th International Conference in July 2012 on “Georgia’s European Way – The EU and Its European Neighbours”, which was organized by the Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, attended by the President of Georgia, Michael Saakashvili, and opened by the Vice Prime-Minister, Giorgi Baramidze.

Other attendees included the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Filat, the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, Štefan Füle, President of the European People's Party, Wilfried Martens, as well as high officials and representatives of governments, parliaments, civil society and business from EU Member States and partner countries.

The Conference was dedicated to the perspectives of European integration in Eastern European Neighbourhood as well as democratic reforms and the rule of law, challenges of global and regional security, economic cooperation with the EU, and people-to-people contacts.
