Support for Israel

The ICJW Constitution expresses the organization's belief in the safe existence and continuing development of the State of Israel on the principles of justice and equality as a sovereign and democratic Jewish State. It affirms that Israel and its capital, Jerusalem, are central to the continuity of Jewish life.

ICJW expresses its support for all efforts and agreements aimed at promoting and/or establishing peaceful relations between Israel and her neighbours, and affirms the benefits that peace and co-operation would bring to the entire region.

We call upon all Jewish women, both in Israel and the Diaspora, to promote and support the peace process and maintain the unity of the Jewish people, and to unite and utilize the collective power of Jewish womanhood in promoting a true search for peace. We call for a just and positive approach to the peace process by our respective governments and we support dialogue among all sections of Israeli society in search of peace.
