Since its establishment in 1912, the International
Council of Jewish Women has given a voice to Jewish women around the world and
has stood on a platform for advocacy and action on the issues that concern us.

and Sustainable Development
Within each of these priority areas, ICJW's affiliates can choose to focus their own advocacy activities on a particular area as it affects their community as well as the wider world. They may also continue to choose their action priorities to include social welfare and community service projects, helping women, children, the elderly, and all who are disadvantaged, organizing adult education and volunteer and leadership training events, and advocating on issues of local and national concern.
